How actions and clicks are tracked

When you receive a referral link, special parameters—with which you can track actions—are automatically added to it. Every creator has a unique set of parameters.

When any of your followers clicks on your referral link and gets to the brand's website to make an action, those parameters are registered on the brand's website and forwarded to ConvertSocial.

After that, ConvertSocial makes a record that the user visited the website and made the action following your link. This means you will be the one who receives the reward for the action.

You can view the number of clicks and actions through your referral link, as well as rewards, in the section Reports.

Make sure you publish referral links. If you use generic links to a brand's website, actions and clicks will not be tracked, for ordinary links do not contain special parameters.
