Here's what you need to do:
1. Go to Settings and click Edit to the right of the Password field.
2. On the password edit page, do the following:
- In the Current password field, enter your account's current password. What to do if you don't remember your current password
- Enter your new password in the New password field. It must be at least 8 characters long, containing at least one number and one letter.
- Re-enter your new password in the Confirm password field.
3. Click Save.
4. You'll be returned to the account settings page. Click Save settings.
Done! Your password has been changed. Use your new password the next time you log in to your account.
What to do if you don't remember your current password
If you don't remember your current password, you'll need to reset and recover your password.
Before resetting your password, make sure you can access the email address you specified in the Settings section. The password recovery message will be sent to this address. If you can't access this email account, don't sign out of your ConvertSocial account. Contact support.
1. Sign out of your account. In the left-hand menu, click your username, then click Sign out.
2. Go to the access recovery page:
- Follow this direct link.
- On the login page, click Forgot password?
2. In the Recover access form, enter the email associated with your address, then click Send message.
3. A message with a link to reset your password will be sent to the email address you specify.
Follow the link in the message. Your old password will be reset.
4. On the password creation page:
- Enter your new password in the New password field. It must be at least 8 characters long, containing at least one number and one letter.
- Re-enter your new password in the Confirm password field.
5. Click Change password.
Done! Go to this page and log in using your new password.
