How to Run Debug Mode for Your Tracking Link

  1. Obtain Your Tracking Link:
    Start by retrieving your tracking link from your Product Data Feed.
  2. Prepare for Debug Mode:
    If you suspect there is an issue with your tracking link, you can check it using debug mode. This mode allows you to view information about the link without actually triggering the redirect.
  3. Modify the Link:
    To enable debug mode, copy your tracking link and add a question mark ? at the end of the URL.
    Example: https://example.com/your-tracking-link?
  4. Activate Debug Mode:
    After the question mark, add debug=true.

  5. Run the Link:
    Paste the modified link into your browser and run it. This will display detailed information about the tracking link.
  6. Analyze the Output:
    • If there is an issue, you might see errors such as “Product Not Found,” indicating that the product is no longer active.
    • Another common error is “Merchant Inactive,” which means the merchant associated with the link is no longer active.
    7. Here is a list of possible errors you might encounter when running a tracking link in debug mode, along with brief explanations for each:

    1. SOURCE_NOT_FOUND: The source of the tracking link cannot be located.

    2. SOURCE_INACTIVE: The source is inactive and no longer valid.

    3. NETWORK_INACTIVE: The network associated with the link is inactive.

    4. MERCHANT_NOT_FOUND: The merchant connected to the tracking link cannot be found.

    5. MERCHANT_INACTIVE: The merchant is inactive.

    6. CAMPAIGN_NOT_FOUND: The campaign related to the tracking link is missing.

    7. CAMPAIGN_INACTIVE: The campaign is inactive.

    8. SOURCE_MERCHANT_RELATION_NOT_FOUND: The relationship between the source and the merchant is not found.

    9. SOURCE_MERCHANT_RELATION_INACTIVE: The relationship between the source and the merchant is inactive.

    10. PRODUCT_NOT_FOUND: The product linked to the tracking link is not found.

    11. PRODUCT_MERCHANT_MISMATCH: The product does not match the associated merchant.

    12. MERCHANT_UNAVAILABLE: The merchant is temporarily unavailable.

    13. COUNTRY_MISMATCH: There is a mismatch between the country of the source and the merchant.

    14. SOURCE_CAP_REACHED: The source has reached its traffic cap.

    15. FRAUD_SUSPECT: The click is suspected to be fraudulent.

    16. OVER_CAP: The traffic cap has been exceeded.

    17. INVALID_ORIGIN_REFERER: The origin referrer is invalid.

    18. INVALID_PUBLISHER_CLICK_ID: The publisher’s click ID is invalid.

    19. INVALID_PUBLISHER_SUB_NAME: The publisher’s sub-name is invalid.

    20. INVALID_SUB_ID: The sub-ID provided is invalid.
