How to add a platform on Takeads

A platform is a website, a Mobile application (app), or an extension that you want to monetize. Add your platform to Takeads to access the Merchant section and promote goods and services using tracking links.

To add a platform:

1. Go to the Dashboard section.

2. In the Platforms block, click Add new platform — a window Connect platform from Mitgo ID will open.

3. Click Create new platform — you will be redirected to Mitgo ID to perform the next steps.

4. Choose the type of ad space on which you plan to place ads: Website or App/extension. Click Next.

5. Add information about your ad space: name, type, URL. Click Next.

You can add multiple links at once, for example, if your website has an app or extension. Only one link will be displayed in the Takeads dashboard.

6. Indicate where your main audience is located and which categories of goods/services are of interest to them. Click Next.

7. Click Confirm if the information you provided about the ad space is correct.

8. Choose an appropriate verification method and click Verify ad space to confirm your ownership of the ad space and prevent fraud:

    • via a meta tag — put the specified meta tag between the <head> and </head> tags of your website's main page. The ad space will be verified within 15 minutes.
    • via a DNS record — on your domain registrar’s website, open the DNS records page and add a DNS resource record of type TXT with the specified parameters. The ad space will be verified within 72 hours.
    • via the Mitgo team — submit a verification request to the Mitgo team. You will receive an email with the verification results to your email address within three days.

If you want to postpone ad space verification, click Skip verification — the ad space will appear in Takeads with status "Unverified". Verification can be completed later. This is required for further work.

9. Follow the steps on the Ad space verification page. After completing this step, you will be automatically redirected from Mitgo ID to Takeads.

After successful verification, the ad space will appear on the Dashboard page with the status "Moderation" (under review by the Takeads team). In Mitgo ID, a verified ad space has the status "Active".

Done! You added a platform to Takeads. After moderation, it will move to the status "Approved" — you can choose available offers in the Merchant section and integrate the platform with Takeads using a JS script or API. More about integration

FAQ

I already have an ad space in Mitgo ID. How do I connect it to Takeads?

You can connect your Mitgo ID ad space to various Mitgo products where its type is supported.

To connect to Takeads, the ad space must be verified and belong to the type 'Website' or 'App/extension'.

To connect your Mitgo ID ad space to Takeads:

1. On the Dashboard page, click Add new platform — the Connect platform from Mitgo ID window will open, showing a list of your platforms in Mitgo ID.

2. Next to the required platform, click Connect — it will appear in the list of platforms on the Dashboard page with the status "Moderation".

What do the platform statuses mean?

The status shows the current state of the platform in Takeads — what stage it is at and what actions are available for it. You can view the platform status on the Dashboard page.

  • Unverified — the platform has not been verified yet. Verify ownership of the platform.
  • Verification — the platform is currently undergoing verification.
  • Moderation — the platform is under review by the Takeads team.
  • Saving — the platform has passed moderation, and its data is being saved.
  • Approved — the platform has successfully passed verification and moderation and is ready to use.
  • Deactivated — the platform has been blocked due to violations of Takeads and/or the advertiser’s rules. Contact support.
