Direct Advertiser Links

  • Aktualisiert

For most affiliate programs, Admitad uses standard affiliate links that go through the Admitad domain. This approach provides stable tracking, complete click statistics, and additional features such as SubID and deeplink.

However, some traffic sources work differently. In certain cases, an intermediate redirect may reduce ad performance or cause links to work incorrectly.

For these scenarios, you can use Direct Advertiser Links.

When you may need Direct Advertiser Links

Direct links can be useful if your traffic source is sensitive to intermediate redirects.

For example:

  • Google Ads campaigns, where using a third-party domain may affect ad review or performance;
  • Telegram, Instagram, and other in-app browsers, where multiple redirects may be unreliable;
  • mobile traffic, when the advertiser’s app needs to open correctly via a Universal Link or App Link;
  • other platforms where intermediate redirects may negatively affect the user experience or cause some traffic to be lost.

In all these cases, sending users directly to the advertiser’s domain avoids additional redirects.

What changes

With Direct Advertiser Links, users go directly to the advertiser’s website.

At the same time:

  • publisher rewards continue to be credited as usual;
  • the advertiser sends conversion data to Admitad;
  • click statistics are not available in Admitad because the click does not go through Admitad infrastructure.

Who can use this feature

Direct Advertiser Links are a special feature that is not automatically available to all publishers.

This tracking method is suitable only for certain setups and has its own limitations.

Before granting access, we assess whether direct links are actually necessary for your use case.

How to get access

If you believe your traffic source requires Direct Advertiser Links, contact Admitad support.

In your request, specify:

  • your account or ad space;
  • the affiliate programs you plan to work with;
  • the traffic sources you use;
  • why standard affiliate links are not suitable for your setup.

After reviewing your request, we will decide whether to grant access.

When standard Admitad links are a better choice

For most publishers, we recommend using standard Admitad affiliate links.

They provide:

  • click statistics;
  • SubID support;
  • deeplink;
  • link stability even when changes are made on the advertiser’s side;
  • reliable performance in standard use cases.

Use Direct Advertiser Links only when your traffic source genuinely requires users to go directly to the advertiser’s domain.
