Account verification confirms that a social media account belongs to you. It takes only a few steps, and you only need to complete it once.
You can verify your account in one of the following ways:
- Verification code—add a short code provided by Mitgo ID to your account.
- Telegram—verify a Telegram channel through the Mitgo Verification bot.
- TikTok—authorize your TikTok account in Mitgo ID.
How to verify an account via code
- Copy the code from the verification page in Mitgo ID.
- Add the code to your bio or description—a short section of your account that is publicly visible. The exact field varies by social network. See the instructions below.

Keep the code in your account until verification is complete. A moderator will confirm that the code is present and correct. This usually takes 2–72 hours.

Using another social network
Add the code to a publicly visible section of your profile that describes you, such as Bio, Description, or About. Keep it there until verification is complete.
Why was my account declined?
Common reasons include:
- The code was removed or changed before verification was complete. Keep it unchanged until verification finishes.
- The code was added to a different account.
- The account was private, so the moderator could not view your bio or description. Make it public during verification.
- A letter or number in the code was changed. Copy and paste the code instead of entering it manually.
If verification is declined, create a new verification request in Mitgo ID and repeat the process with the new code. Make sure the code is visible, then click Send request.
