Verification is needed to confirm your ownership of the ad space and to prevent fraud. If an ad space is not verified, you cannot connect it to Mitgo products for monetization.
You can complete verification when creating the ad space or later.
If you did not verify the ad space when creating it, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Ad spaces section — a list of all your ad spaces in Mitgo ID will open.
2. Next to the ad space you want to verify, click Verify.
3. Select a verification method:
The available methods depend on the type of ad space.
Verification via meta tag
This method is suitable for websites.
1. On the Verification via meta tag page, copy the specified meta tag.
2. Place it between the <head> and </head> tags of your website's main page.
3. Return to the Verification via meta tag page and check the box to confirm you have completed all actions to prove ownership of the ad space.
4. Click Finish.
If everything is done correctly, the ad space will be verified automatically within 15 minutes. It will receive the status "Active", and you will be able to connect it to Mitgo products.
Verification via code
This method is suitable for apps and extensions.
1. On the Verification via code page, copy the specified code.
2. Place the code in the description of the app/extension or in the About us/About app/Information section.
Do not delete or edit the code until the ad space is approved.
3. Return to the Verification via code page and click the Send request button.
A moderator will check for the presence and correctness of the code. The check takes from 2 up to 72 hours. After successful verification, the ad space will receive the status "Active", and you will be able to connect it to Mitgo products.
Verification via Telegram
This method is suitable for influencers.
- On the Verification via Telegram page, copy the bot name.
- Make the bot an administrator of the channel you want to verify. To do this:
- Open the Telegram channel and click the three dots in the top-right corner of the window.
- Select Manage Channel → Administrators.
- Click Add Administrator.
- Enter the bot name in the search bar, select Mitgo Verification, and click OK — a list of administrator permissions will open.
- Deactivate all permissions and click ✔.
When verification is completed and the ad space receives the Active status, the bot can be removed from the channel.
- Return to Mitgo ID to the Verification via Telegram page and click Log in via Telegram.
- Enter the phone number associated with the Telegram account that has the channel for verification and click Next. You will receive a message in Telegram.
- In the message, click Accept to confirm the authorization request.
- Return to Mitgo ID and refresh the Verification via Telegram page.
- In the window that opens, click Accept to grant Mitgo ID access to information about your Telegram account.
If the authorization is successful, your name and avatar will be displayed in the Log in as button.
- Click the authorization button — your username will appear.
- Click Finish.
If everything is done correctly, the ad space will be verified automatically within a few seconds. It will receive the Active status, and you will be able to connect it to Mitgo products.
Verification via TikTok
This method is suitable for influencers.
- On the Verification via TikTok page, click Authorize in TikTok — the authorization window will open.
- Log in to your TikTok account in any convenient way.
Make sure you log in to the exact account that you specified as the ad space in Mitgo ID and want to verify.
- Grant Mitgo ID access to information about your TikTok account.
If everything is done correctly, the ad space will be verified automatically within a few seconds. It will receive the Active status, and you will be able to connect it to Mitgo products.
If the ad space you want to verify does not belong to the authorized TikTok account, you will see an error message and will not be able to complete verification of the ad space.

What should I do if the ad space did not pass verification via code?
1. Check the reason for rejection in the email sent to your registration email address.
2. Register the ad space again and submit it for verification, taking into account the advice in the email.

If the automatic check does not find the required meta tag on your site, the ad space will change its status to "Not verified". After this you can correct the meta tag and start the verification again.

Make sure you are logged in to the correct account, provided the correct link to the ad space, and completed all the requirements described in the article. Then try again.
