A contract offer is a personalized offer for your ad space within an affiliate program. It lets you earn a fixed reward for meeting pre-agreed performance conditions (a GMV KPI).
Unlike standard affiliate program terms, where you earn a reward for each confirmed target action, a contract pays one fixed reward once you meet its terms.
You can have multiple contracts at the same time—with different affiliate programs and for one or more of your ad spaces.
How a contract works
Once a contract offer is activated, you begin working under the contract terms.
While the contract is active:
- all sales continue to be tracked and shown in statistics;
- sales volume (GMV) continues to be calculated and shown in statistics;
- the reward for each individual sale under the affiliate program covered by the contract is shown as 0.
During the contract period, you work with the affiliate program for a fixed reward tied to the GMV KPI instead of receiving the standard reward for each sale.
What the GMV KPI is
Each contract has a target GMV (Gross Merchandise Volume)—the confirmed sales volume you need to reach to fulfill the contract terms.
GMV includes all sales generated by your ad space under the affiliate program from the moment the contract is activated.
When the reward is paid
Once you reach the target GMV:
- the contract is automatically marked as completed;
- the fixed reward is automatically credited to your balance;
- all subsequent sales under the affiliate program are paid according to the program’s standard CPA terms.
Why earnings from sales are shown as 0
While the contract is active, no reward is accrued for individual sales under the affiliate program covered by the contract, so earnings from those sales are shown as 0.
The sales still count toward the GMV required to fulfill the contract terms.
How you’ll know when a contract starts and ends
At first, information about contract offers will be available through the Notification center.
You’ll receive notifications:
- when a contract is activated;
- after you successfully complete the contract and the fixed reward is credited to your balance.
Where to view your contracts
There is currently no dedicated section for viewing contracts.
In a future Admitad update, a dedicated section will be added where you’ll be able to:
- view all active and completed contracts;
- see the status of each contract;
- track your progress toward the GMV KPI;
- view the fixed reward amount and contract terms.
Until this section is available, all information about contract activation and completion will be sent through the Notification center.
